On 28 March 2026, we organised The Girls Tech Summit together with the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE) and Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The Summit was filled with lively discussions, thoughtful questions, and hands-on activities that brought STEAM concepts to life.
Thanks to CASETiFY, HSBC, HKU Medicine, IEEE Hong Kong, Microsoft, and Lenzing Fibers (Hong Kong) Limited, for supporting and taking part in the day’s events — from keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, to interactive STEAM career booths.
On 7 January 2026, we officially partnered with Microsoft Hong Kong in a two-year collaboration to support teen girls and young women aged 12–19 with AI learning, future-ready skills, and real-world career exposure.
Starting this year, our new partnership will bring fresh opportunities for student members — from hands-on AI learning and digital skills workshops to mentorship and career exploration with Microsoft professionals.

On 22 November 2025, we hosted our inaugural FutureGen Young Women Leaders Award Ceremony, recognizing teen girls for their youth to career development. The Award Ceremony was held before nearly 150 guests, including students, educators, committee members, industry advisors, and supporting organisation representatives.
Guest of Honour, Ms. Joyce Chan, Commissioner for Women Affairs at the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, congratulated participants and commended the Foundation for providing and expanding access to youth-to-careers exploration opportunities.

On 21 March 2026, members joined a Game Design Workshop organised with Hong Kong Computer Society at the Vocational Training Centre Shatin.
Through interactive workshops exploring board game mechanics, creativity, and digital game development, students gained hands-on experience in game design and prototyping using Unity. Participants also built AI racing environments inspired by Mario Kart while learning about collision detection, game scenes, and professional game development pipelines.
The experience offered students valuable exposure to future pathways in digital game development and the growing opportunities within the gaming and technology industries.
On 20 March 2026, 370 students from SKH All Saints’ Middle School joined a FutureGen Youth Foundation school talk on “The World of Advertising and Future Trends” featuring Alexis Chiu from Saatchi & Saatchi Hong Kong.
Students explored how the advertising industry is evolving in the AI era, the changing landscape of Hong Kong’s advertising market, and the diverse career pathways within the creative industry — while gaining insights into the power of storytelling, branding, and innovation in today’s fast-changing world.
On 28 February 2026, our members participated in the “Smartphone Photography Workshop”, hosted by The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), a Recognised Program provider.
Through guided practice, they learned the fundamentals of stage photography, with a focus on capturing movement, timing, and composition in live performance settings. They also explored how to use smartphone technology creatively to document dynamic moments, gaining a deeper appreciation for visual storytelling and the role of photography in the performing arts.
On 11 December 2025, we hosted a School Talk at the Academy of Innovation (Confucius Hall), engaging 187 students in a session titled “From Passion to Action.”
The talk was delivered by Ms. Jessica Lam, Assistant Director of Hong Kong Programme and Advocacy at Plan International Hong Kong, who shared the organisation’s mission, her professional journey, and insights into working in the development sector. Students were encouraged to step beyond their comfort zones and explore new pathways!
On 27 November, 2025, we hosted a School Career Workshop at Kowloon True Light School in collaboration with Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI), a Recognised Program partner.
The session introduced students to how technology is shaping jewellery design, offering insights into creative career pathways at the intersection of design and innovation. The workshop also featured hands-on exercises, where students designed and created their own accessories, bringing their ideas to life!
On 10 November 2025, we hosted a School Talk at POH Tang Pui King Memorial College, engaging 123 students in a session titled “Enhancing Everyday Life Through Science.”
Dr. Lawrence Tzang, Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Prenetics, shared insights into the evolving healthcare and biotechnology landscape, as well as his entrepreneurial journey. Students were encouraged to reflect on their strengths and interests, think about future career directions, and embrace perseverance in pursuing their goals.
On 15 October 2025, Secy Cheung, Founding Board Director of FutureGen Youth Foundation, presented a School Talk at Ying Wa Girls’ School, engaging 900 students in a session on Global Sustainability.
Secy shared her volunteering experiences and encouraged students to become thoughtful, responsible global citizens. Students were inspired to reflect on their own role in society, value their resources, and consider how they can contribute to supporting others.
On 26 September 2025, our members participated in Innovation Day 2025 – Talk with Student CEO & Guided Tour for Secondary School Students at YIA, hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) PI Centre as a Recognised Program partner.
The program engaged six student members, offering insights into entrepreneurship and the support systems within the CUHK ecosystem. Through the session and guided tour, students explored venture creation pathways and gained exposure to entrepreneurship as a potential career direction.
On 1 December 2025, we hosted a School Talk at Marymount Secondary School, engaging 120 students in a session titled “AI with Purpose: A Founder’s Journey in AI and Accessibility.”
Dr. Chan Hiu Ling, Florence, Co-founder and CEO of AI Guided Limited, shared her entrepreneurial journey and the development of assistive AI technology for the visually impaired. She also spoke about innovation, challenges in R&D, and balancing entrepreneurship, academic pursuits, and family life.
On 13 December 2025, our members participated in the “STEM Racing Hong Kong & Macau Finals 2025 – Experience Zone” at the Hong Kong Productivity Council, a Recognised Program provider.
Students engaged in hands-on activities exploring race car design, live racing demonstrations, and interactive driving simulations. The experience offered an exciting introduction to engineering, innovation, and the application of STEM in high-performance racing.
On 28 November 2025, we hosted a School Talk at St. Paul’s Secondary School, engaging 253 students in a session titled “Engineering the Future: From Building to Shaping.”
Ir Alice Chow Kin Tak, the first female President of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), shared insights on the evolving role of engineers, leadership, and the importance of broadening horizons. She also encouraged students to reflect on purpose and redefine success through impact and contribution.
On 12 November 2025, our Award members participated in a School Career Workshop at Delia Memorial School (Broadway), delivered by Jobsdb by SEEK – Hong Kong, a Recognised Program partner.
The session engaged 28 students, offering insights into current job market trends and practical guidance on CV writing, equipping them with essential skills for their future career journeys.
Students were also encouraged to reflect on how to position their strengths and experiences effectively for future opportunities.
On 23 October 2025, our members participated in a Physiotherapy Workshop hosted by the Hong Kong Young Women’s Christian Association (HKYWCA).
The session introduced students to rehabilitation and community support services, including programmes for active ageing and children with special educational needs. Students also had the opportunity to engage with a physiotherapist and learn more about the profession and its role in healthcare.
On 29 September 2025, we presented a School Talk at St. Catherine’s School for Girls, engaging 840 students in a career exploration panel session.
The session featured Dr. Kandice Li, Board Member of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Hong Kong and Obstetrician-gynecologist, and Ms. Arcux Leung, Medical Technology Representative, who shared insights into their professional journeys and the healthcare industry. Students gained exposure to diverse career pathways, alongside an introduction to the FutureGen Young Women Leaders Award.
On 30 August 2025, FGY Founding Board Director Secy Cheung shared her personal journey with over 120 students at a School Talk at Pope Paul VI College.
From the courtroom to crisis centres, and from Africa to Hong Kong, Secy reflected on a path shaped by courage, change, and purpose—encouraging students to explore their own direction and aspirations. She also introduced the FutureGen Young Women Leaders Award, highlighting how members are Discovering their paths; leading their futures.
On 13 March 2026, members of the FutureGen Young Women Leaders Award joined Career Connect: Personal Branding — An Immersive Workplace Experience with L’Oréal + The Curated Style by GigiLi, a special Reward Experience offered to Award members at the L’Oréal Hong Kong office.
Through sessions on CV and interview skills, beauty and fragrance, and the “Power of Colour,” students explored how personal branding, confidence, and presentation can support future career readiness — while discovering how colour psychology and styling can shape self-expression and first impressions.
On 14 February 2026, our members participated in the “Connecting with Stars” workshop, hosted by Hong Kong Laureate Forum at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, a Recognised Program provider.
The session engaged students in a hands-on exploration of astrophysics, including solar observation using specialised telescopes and laboratory work on cosmic rays and spectroscopy. Through direct interaction with researchers and real-world equipment, students gained new perspectives on physics and discovered how scientific concepts can be both accessible and inspiring.
On 2 December 2025, our members participated in “Imagining Future: An Exploratory Tour of HKBU’s Art-Tech Laboratories,” hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) as a Recognised Program provider.
The programme engaged student members from four schools, offering exposure to university research environments and the intersection of art and technology. Students explored how AI drives creative storytelling and experienced immersive technologies, including motion capture and AR/VR/XR applications.
On 6 February 2026, we organised a series of four corporate visits for approximately 100 Secondary 4 students from St. Teresa Secondary School.
Students participated in sessions with Bowtie (insurance), EX-R International (public relations), HKBU’s CHRYSALIS Art Tech Incubation Hub (art and technology), and Link Sustainability Lab (ESG and sustainability). Through company visits, interactive workshops, and guided tours, students explored industry roles, engaged in hands-on activities, and gained insights into real-world applications.
On 29 November 2025, as the historic Béthanie marked its 150th Anniversary, the School of Film and Television at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) hosted its Star Alumni Campus Tour, featuring three learning sessions led by industry professionals.
Students from HKAPA were also invited to join the sessions, creating a shared platform for learning and exchange across ages.
On 15 November 2025, our Award members participated in the HKIIT Digital Workshops, hosted by the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT) as a Recognised Program partner.
The program engaged 28 students in a hands-on learning experience across two areas — creating and customising VTuber avatars, and exploring drone technology through interactive flying challenges.
The workshop introduced students to emerging applications in digital media, VR/AR, and entertainment technology.
On 31 October 2025, our Award Scheme members participated in a ViuTV Studio Visit at Shaw Studios, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at television production.
The visit included a studio tour, access to live production environments, and an introduction to editing workflows. Students observed how production teams collaborate in real time and explored the technology and processes behind creating broadcast content.
On 11 October 2025, we hosted a School Talk at Madam Lau Kam Lung Secondary School of Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery, engaging 112 students in a career exploration session.
The talk featured speakers from a globally recognised retail brand across HR, Retail, Fashion Advisory, and Business Services (Governance & Performance), who shared their unique experiences and career journeys. Students gained insights into the retail industry, including the idea that university majors do not always define career paths.
On 12 September 2025, our Award Scheme members participated in a special PR career exploration session hosted by Occasions, engaging 24 students from six schools.
The session provided insights into the fields of public relations, events, and digital campaigns, featuring case studies such as “A Path to Glory – Jin Yong’s World of Wuxia” and a VR campaign in Macau. Students gained exposure to creative project development and career pathways within the communications industry.
On 14 March 2026, members of the FutureGen Young Women Leaders Award joined Career Connect: Media — Immersive Workplace Experience with One Cool BB Dubbing Production Team, a special Reward Experience exploring the world of voice acting and dubbing.
Through hands-on voice-over experiences and conversations with dubbing directors and voice talents from One Cool BB Dubbing, students discovered the creativity, emotion, and dedication behind the media industry — while gaining confidence stepping outside their comfort zones and using their voices to tell stories.
On 25 February 2026, students participated in a Visit to the Multi-Scale Medical Robotic Centre, hosted by Hong Kong Laureate Forum at Hong Kong Science Park, a Recognised Program provider.
At the workshop, students enjoyed exploring cutting-edge medical robotics technologies and their applications in surgery, rehabilitation, and patient care. Through demonstrations and expert sharing, students gained insight into the intersection of engineering, AI, and healthcare, sparking interest in future pathways in biomedical engineering and innovation.
On 4 December 2025, we hosted a School Talk at The Salvation Army William Booth Secondary School, engaging 120 students in a session titled “Future Trends and Challenges in Technology Applications.”
Dr. Jean Lai, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University, shared insights on emerging technologies, including VR, AR, and AI, and their applications across fields such as education, healthcare, and society. She also encouraged students to think broadly about the future of technology and the skills and mindset needed to navigate it.
